Day 4 of Its Zara: How to get the perfect eyebrow

how tot LOCATE YOUR STARTING POINTS

1-Flip your tweezers upside down so the open end is pointing down, and place it vertically alongside the outer edge of the bottom of your nose.
2-The point where the vertex lands marks the beginning of your brow.
3-Using an eye pencil, draw a vertical line to demarcate the start of each brow, then check that the space above the bridge of your nose is centered between them.
4-Remove the strays that fall in between.

Day 3 of ItsZara: Picture friendly makeup

The makeup you wear for every day life looks way different then makeup you wear for photos. This is because when taking photos, the flash from the camera will wash out 20% of your colour. So if your going to do your makeup for a photo shoot it should  look a lot more dramatic in real life then in the photo.  This is how to do your makeup so it looks incredible in pictures.

1-foundation, concealer, and translucent powder.

-Mattify you face so that your skin looks smooth and even and gets rid of any shine.Use powder brush to blend it in.
-For the foundation use a foundation brush and  blend foundation evenly all over clean, moisturized skin.
-Conceal are around your nostrils, the shallow area underneath your eye and into any  lines around your mouth. Use a minimal amount of concealer and blend well.
-Top it off with a bit of translucent powder on any shinny areas such as the nose, forehead, chin, and under eyes. Do this by taping it on the areas lightly .Make sure not to look cakey.

2-Eyebrows

Eyebrows add structure to your face and eyes there for it is very important to make sure you have well shaped eyebrows. Make sure to full them in using a brow pencil then highlight the curves using a light shimmery eyeshadow.

3-Eyeshadow

Using three colors (a neutral, a darker shade, and a highlighter) will make your eyes appear brighter and larger in pictures. Start by defying the shape of your eye by applying a darker of the shades the crease. Blend it out softly so it doesn't look to harsh. Apply highlighter in the inner corner of the eye so that you look more awake.

4-Eyeliner

Eyeliner is great because it frames your eyes and also makes your lashes look fuller. You can apply this in many different ways. Pencils, brushes and gel or pens can be used for this. I prefer gel because I feel like I can really control where the line goes and get a flawless flick on the end.

5-Get false eyelashes

False lashes are not a must but if you get them your lashes will appear more full. I would suggest getting them for the best results.

6-Contouring is Magic

A diagram of how to contour and highlight.

You can contour with cream or powder. I prefer using cream because you can control where it goes and really blend it nicely.

 7-Lipstick

Use a lip brush and press the colour on to the lips. It gives you ultimate control and maximum coverage. Nude lipsticks are the most used on models because its a natural colour and goes with almost every makeup look.

And that is how to get flawless makeup for your photos.Hope this was helpful.Stay healthy and love yourself.

Day 2 of ItsZara: How to apply foundation like a pro

3 Steps to picking your perfect foundation colour

1-Select 3 colours that are the closest match to your jawline – for this, hold each bottle against your jawline in a mirror. If possible to try a tester, apply some on the jawline.
2- Once you picked 3, apply them in 3 stripes on the front of the chin – the one that almost disappears on the skin is very likely to be the perfect one.
3-Apply foundation on one side of your face. When you are happy with the result, apply one the other side.

Using the right tools

Using the right tools can make a BIG difference. Applying with your hands uses more foundation and tends to rub it off of your skin. I prefer to use a brush rather than my hands or a sponge. Sponges, like your hands use more foundation up. It sucks up the foundation and has often takes the foundation off rather than on. If you use one, try dabbing it on rather than spreading it by rubbing.

Tips

And remember NEVER apply too much. It can make your face look cakey, oily and look unnatural. Also blend upward as not to stretch your skin and blend it on to your neck so there is no line where your foundation stops.

Tips for looking younger

1- A tinted moisturiser or light foundation and skip the powder cuz it can sit in the wrinkles and make your makeup look cakey .

2-  Use as the least powder you can. Use a cream blush to give your skin glowy look. It spreads easer and blends right in.

3-Curling your eyelashes makes your eyes pop. It also opens up your eyes.Curling your lashes gives the appearance of your eyes being more open and wide therefore looking more youthful.  Remember to apply a couple coats of mascara, but even if you don’t make sure you curl those lashes. Mascara helps too. I use two different kinds. And the bigger the brush the better.

4-Use a  a concealer to hide your under eyes.Make sure to pat not rub.

5- Eyeliner makes your look they area being pulled upward and makes them look bigger and brighter.

6-Use a lip plumper to make your lips fuller. Using a bit of gloss in the centre of your lips also makes your lips look plumper

.7-Applying a good, bright, shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye to help lighten them. Make sure to apply some on the under eye just under the water line.

8-Always make sure to keep your skin clean and moisturised. Remember to remove any make-up before going to bed so the skin can breath.

9-Always use a upward motion when washing your face or applying make-up as not to stretch your skin which can cause it to droop.

Remember stay healthy and love yourself.

Day 1 of Its Zara: Finally fallowing my dream

Hey guys, so just from the title of my first blog post you can probably know that this has been a long dream of mine to start a beauty blog but do to the lack of confidence I never started one. So I woke up one morning and said to myself ' I will make a blog today' so hear I am. I hope who ever looks at my blog enjoys it and learns from it.

The point of this blog is to share what I am learning about cosmetics and hair styling. It has been my biggest interest for years and I wish to gain as much knowledge as I can and share it with you. I am not a professional and don't have any degree in it but have learnt a lot from working with make-up so what ever tips, tricks or opinions I write about are not professional advice or anything like that.

Any way, thats it for this post. Stay healthy and love yourself.
